Electrical Quantity Surveyor Manager

MX ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Quantity Surveyor Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our QS team, preparing tender submissions, and evaluating price comparisons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide the QS team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project estimates.
  • Prepare tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities, and negotiate with subcontractors and main contractors.
  • Evaluate price comparisons and costing summaries to ensure project costs are optimized.
  • Coordinate with various personnel to compile project cost estimates and source materials for projects.
  • Conduct cost analysis to enhance project value and control project scope to meet project objectives.
  • Administer project budget, cost control, and subcontract and main-contract administration, including Variation Orders and final account settlements.
  • Project procurement and purchasing, price negotiation, and analysis.
  • Prepare subcontract agreements and payment submissions.
  • Submit monthly progress payment claims and identify potential claims based on contract deviations.
  • Handle issues, including extension of time, terms and conditions, loss and expenses claims, and review and negotiate with subcontractors as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of construction Quantity Surveyor experience in electrical projects in Singapore.
  • Able to work independently and proficient in MS Office applications and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with good knowledge of market pricing and rates.
