Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AV Equipment Technician to join our Maintenance Department at Goodwood Park Hotel Private Limited. As an AV Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our audio visual equipment and lighting systems in our ballrooms and function spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify and address any issues or defects.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Engineering to develop and implement effective maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to guests and staff on the proper use and operation of AV equipment.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Work closely with the Catering and Banquet teams to ensure seamless execution of events and functions.
  • Assist with the preparation of duty rosters and coordinate with other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary School Education
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is an asset
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
