Early Childhood Intervention Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Early Childhood Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing educational and therapeutic services to young children with special needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and other professionals.
  • Provide direct instructional services to students, including lesson planning, instruction, and assessment.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and develop strategies to support students with varying learning needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for students.

Requirements:

To be successful as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist, you will need:

  • Advanced diploma in Early Childhood Intervention or related field.
  • Teaching experience in Early Childhood Intervention settings.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with young children with learning disabilities.
  • Knowledge of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approach.
