We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team at OCBC. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business on all aspects of financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide financial planning and analysis support to the business, including database management, controlling, analyzing, and reporting on financial performance.
- Cost Management: Work with various departments and Finance teams to track and understand cost, chargeout, and allocation across the region.
- Impact Analysis: Perform impact analysis by applying scenario tools to cost.
- Cost Allocation Improvement: Understand and explore ways for improvement of cost allocation.
- Costing Review Support: Provide support to costing review with Business Units.
- Tax Advisory: Familiar with Tax in Asian Region and advise potential tax implication to location strategies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare annual budget, financial forecasts, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments relating to financials.
- Education: Possess a good university degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Experience: Working experience and knowledge in Management reporting, or work in analytical roles in the financial industry will be an advantage.
- Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Detail Orientation: Detail-oriented individual capable of completing reporting and analytics accurately and on a timely basis.
- Technical Skills: Strong MS-Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, pivot table) and Data Management experience will be advantageous.
- Personal Qualities: An independent self-starter and a team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
