Process Operations Technician

The Process Operations Technician is responsible for carrying out process operations, ensuring orderliness during shift, and monitoring the process, DCS, and other systems.

  • Carry out process operations
  • Conduct plant area patrols to maintain orderliness
  • Regularly monitor the process, DCS, and other systems

Additionally, the technician is responsible for checking and ensuring that documentations are recorded properly, informing superiors of any deviations, missing data, or wrong data records. They must also ensure that operations comply with SOP, Quality, and EHS requirements, perform daily housekeeping, and maintain a 5S score above 4.

Other responsibilities include carrying out routine work as per instructions, continual learning and upgrading through internal and external training, and participating in company activities such as TPM, KYT, Near Miss, Kaizen, and more.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least NITEC in Chemical related courses
  • Independent and fast learner with a positive attitude
  • Able to perform 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or chemical process plant is an added advantage
