Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a vital role in protecting our organization's critical systems and data from potential security threats. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to identify potential security incidents and unauthorized activities in a timely manner.

You will design, deploy, and manage threat detection rules and preventive security controls to safeguard our systems and data. This will involve performing in-depth analysis of security events to determine the nature and scope of potential security incidents and recommending risk mitigation strategies.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to carry out digital forensic analysis for reporting and auditing purposes. Furthermore, you will contribute to threat hunting exercises or cyber projects to improve our overall security posture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical know-how and experience in solutions such as network security (firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, NAC), web security (web application firewalls, web isolation), endpoint security (endpoint detection and response, antivirus software, data loss prevention), threat monitoring, vulnerability management, cloud security, and identity management.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a SOC environment.
