Job Title: Architectural Coordinator

At TIONG SENG CIVIL ENGINEERING (PRIVATE) LIMITED, we are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Coordinator to join our team. As an Architectural Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Planning Manager in coordinating design detailing between clients and consultants.
  • Review, update, and coordinate all architectural work, including shop drawings, to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Resolve site architectural issues, such as drawing discrepancies, method statements, and correspondences, and implement effective solutions to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors to alleviate conflicts, disputes, and abortive work.
  • Ensure compliance with architectural specifications and achieve quality aspects of architectural works without deviation from authority requirements.
  • Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and documentation in accordance with the Master Programme.
  • Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings for Contract/Procurement management.
  • Prepare necessary construction method statements and technical proposals to ensure smooth transition of works.
  • Inspect, resolve, and monitor rectifications for in-progress work.
  • Coordinate all architectural drawings and works, submit, and update status of shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and materials, as well as supervise work progress.
  • Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors, conduct routine inspections of installed works.
  • Prepare and coordinate QM/CONQUAS Assessments.
  • Compile and hand over Architectural documentations, including As-built drawing submissions.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree/diploma in Architecture or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience, preferably with CONQUAS/QM experience on PPVC or PBU projects.
  • Understanding of specifications, drawings, scope, and sequence of works.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies.
  • Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (i.e. BCA).
  • Good team player.
