Malay Language Instructor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Malay language instructor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching the Malay language, with a minimum of three years of experience in leading group or individual classes. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage and lead lessons face-to-face or online.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and supporting learners who require additional assistance. They will also contribute to curriculum development, participate in workshops and training courses, and maintain accurate records of learner performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive Malay language lessons to meet the needs of learners
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate learner progress
  • Maintain accurate records of learner performance and growth
  • Participate in curriculum development and contribute to the improvement of existing programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues on course development and share best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High proficiency in and comprehensive knowledge of the Malay language
  • Effective working proficiency with English for communication with administrative staff
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree
  • Certification or equivalent training in modern, communicative language pedagogy
