Carpentry Job Description

As a skilled carpenter, you will be responsible for installing and building structures using various materials such as wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites. The role requires strong working knowledge of job site safety and the ability to complete a company-specific safety orientation.

You must be able to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements and have excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry and be detail-oriented with a focus on ensuring safety in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fitting and installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim
  • Erecting scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels
  • Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws
  • Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Building or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings
  • Inspecting ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of SGD 60,000 - SGD 90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
