Senior Investment Risk Analytics Product Manager

GIC, one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of our investment risk analytics product. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product vision and technology strategic objectives, prioritizing features, and driving best practices for new improvements and maintenance.

- Drive best practices for new improvements and maintenance
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technology leads, software development teams, and designers in crafting product vision, roadmap, prioritization of initiatives, and features
- Ensure dynamic, incremental, and continuous delivery of the product that brings value to the business in an agile and sustainable manner
We are looking for a candidate with at least 15 years of experience in the financial industry, with a strong focus and knowledge of investment risk analytics in one or more asset classes. You should have up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and emerging technologies, especially in the area of investment risk analytics.
Additionally, you should have a strong background in product development, with experience in defining and driving the development of a software product. You should have a proven track record of working with business and technology teams to develop software as a product.
You should also have hands-on experience in conducting business analysis functions, senior stakeholder management, solution designing, and software test planning. In-depth understanding of how risk managers use data and analytics in identifying the risk and performance drivers of investment strategies is also required.
Technical skills include past hands-on experience in software development and production support of risk applications, well-versed in Agile software development methodologies, and strong knowledge of investment data sets and hands-on knowledge in data modeling, database design, and data analysis.
Finally, you should have excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and solutions effectively with technical software architects, cloud architects, software engineers, and non-technical stakeholders, risk managers, and portfolio managers across various seniorities.
