**Job Title:** Software and Applications Manager

**Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software and Applications Manager to lead our team of software engineers, application developers, and technical specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, system integration, and enterprise application development.

**Responsibilities:

  • Direct the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise applications and business-critical systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on schedule, and in compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, development methodologies, and architectural frameworks.
  • Oversee integration of applications with APIs, third-party platforms, and internal enterprise systems.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, resolve technical issues, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and IT teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment practices.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to strengthen the technology landscape.
  • Provide periodic reports, performance metrics, and actionable insights to senior management.

**Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8–12 years in software development, including 3–5 years in a managerial or technical leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple software projects and development teams.
  • Strong expertise in software architecture, system integration, and enterprise application development.
  • Hands-on background with modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to enterprise application management, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and analytics tools is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to plan, strategize, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
