Chief Investment Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Investment Officer to lead our finance and investment functions. This key role will drive investment strategy, manage portfolio companies, and ensure operational and financial excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Investment Management: Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis of direct investments (venture, seed, pre-seed) and present recommendations for approval.
- Strategy & Planning: Co-develop investment strategy and long-term financial plans with senior leadership, identifying emerging themes and new opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
- Operations & Governance: Manage internal/outsourced finance, legal, and compliance resources to strengthen processes and maintain relationships with advisors and partners.
- Leadership & Business Development: Build networks with investors, partners, and portfolio companies, fostering collaboration and mentoring junior team members.
- Oversight & Compliance: Conduct regular portfolio reviews, maintain accurate financial models, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting board-level reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (CFA/MBA preferred).
- 8-12 years' experience in investment management, corporate finance, or family office.
- Strong financial modeling, due diligence, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation ability.
