Logistics Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced delivery driver to join our team in transporting goods to various restaurant outlets. As a Logistics Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to scheduled routes and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Goods Transport: Drive a 10ft Chiller Truck to transport goods to various restaurant outlets, adhering to scheduled routes and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading goods from the truck, handling and storing them properly to avoid damage.
  • Delivery Records: Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices, delivery confirmations, and other required documentation.
  • Professional Interaction: Interact professionally with colleagues, addressing any delivery-related concerns or issues.
  • Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize delays, optimize fuel usage, and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Incident Reporting: Report any accidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly to the supervisor.
Essential Requirements
  • Licenses: Possess a valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore, with a clean driving record.
  • Experience: Have at least 1-2 years of experience driving trucks, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
  • Physical Abilities: Be able to lift, carry, and move heavy items during loading and unloading tasks.
  • Cognitive Skills: Possess good knowledge of Singapore's road network, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices.
  • Communication: Be able to read and understand delivery instructions, communicate effectively with colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem-solver who can work well under pressure. You should also be comfortable with regular travel and long hours spent behind the wheel.

Please note that this is not a remote job opportunity. The successful candidate will be required to spend most of their time on the road, visiting various restaurant outlets across Singapore.
