About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Facilities Director to lead our Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) Capital Engineering Facilities Team. This role is responsible for developing and executing a multi-year sustaining (replacement) capital strategy, supporting critical facility and infrastructure expansions, and standardizing processes for K-C across several areas to gain efficiencies and optimize ongoing Capital spending.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive clarity around and/or creation of standards to be leveraged for new facility builds, including greenfield and brownfields, expansions, warehouses, and other building or infrastructure work.
  • Create and execute a Sustaining (Replacement) Capital Strategy.
  • Drive cost efficiencies through contract improvements and standard approaches to ongoing upgrades, facility maintenance, and more.
  • Oversee overall improvements in the management/maintenance of our facilities through monitoring industry standards, technology, and process improvements, such as lean energy.
  • Lead the creation of and adherence to critical engineering safety and sustainability standards in partnership with the VP of Occupational Health & Safety and the Chief Sustainability Officer and their teams.
  • Collaborate with Global Business Solutions real estate team to assess opportunities, manage risk, and drive decisions, including the acquisition of facilities and land enabling the maximum supply chain value stream and the disposition of facilities or land no longer needed.
  • Ensure the management of risk (in partnership with Risk Management) with all projects to meet risk and compliance requirements while being as cost-effective as possible.
