Job Title: Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and experienced culinary team member to join our kitchen team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the kitchen team in prepping, cooking, and plating dishes to meet quality expectations.
  • Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and portion standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety in your work area at all times.
  • Assist with mise en place, basic food prep, and receiving of inventory.
  • Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations, including proper food handling.
  • Keep equipment and kitchen tools clean and in good working order.
  • Be open to learning and taking on new responsibilities as the kitchen grows.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred (café or casual dining background welcome).
  • Food Hygiene Certification (WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course).
  • Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Able to handle fast-paced environments with consistency and care.
