Job Title: Asset Management Specialist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a skilled Asset Management Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial equipment maintenance and asset management/reliability engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct parts audits of Synchronous Condenser and Transmission lines, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize spare parts inventory.
  • Develop and maintain accurate master equipment lists, including counts and details of in-service equipment.
  • Analyze data to determine required stock levels and optimum inventory levels, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Cross-reference part numbers with inventory management systems and existing listings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare documentation and updates for inventory management systems and branch modifications.
  • Collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to gather information on recommended spare parts, component preservation, storage requirements, costs, and lead times.
  • Determine storage and maintenance needs for critical and specialty spare inventories.
  • Perform field visits to gather part information from in-service equipment as needed.
  • Apply Life Cycle and Economic Analysis principles to support project justifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Technology Diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience in industrial equipment maintenance and asset management/reliability engineering.
