Job Summary

We are seeking an Adjunct Physics Teacher to teach our Grades 12 students enrolled in our Canadian Curriculum High School programme. This is an adjunct position with the possibility of converting to a full-time position depending on student feedback. The selected candidate will receive remote training during the summer period by our partner school in Canada and will be required to sign a one-year bond upon completion of the training.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Physics (SPH4U) to Grades 12 students
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement curriculum design
  • Manage classroom effectively and foster a positive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with partner teachers in Canada
  • Use technology to enhance learning and integrate it into teaching practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics
  • Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience
  • Experience teaching Physics (SPH4U)
  • Strong background in senior-level Physics theories and concepts
  • Knowledge of instructional best practices for tools like learning management systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with partner teachers in Canada
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks and projects
  • Ability to use a wide variety of teaching and assessment strategies to meet the learning needs of all students
  • Experience and comfort in providing rich inquiry-based learning opportunities and real-world application
  • Demonstrated ability to use and integrate technology to enhance learning
  • A record of encouraging, nurturing, and supporting students' love of learning
  • Strong initiative, communication, teamwork, and instructional ability
