Desktop and Network Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused technical professional to provide desktop and network support for our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support for desktop systems, network connectivity, and other IT-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in user account setup, password resets, and profile configurations.
  • Provide basic support for email, Microsoft Office, VPN, and antivirus software.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and maintain accurate documentation.
Network Support Services:
  • Monitor basic network connectivity (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Support and troubleshoot basic network issues such as cable connections, switch port configuration, and IP addressing.
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of network devices and IT assets.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support or network specialists.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Log and update support requests in the ticketing system.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up with users to ensure issue resolution.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding tasks including hardware setup and software installation.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems is a plus.
