Job Title: FP&A Manager

Join our team at Subway Systems Singapore Pte. Ltd. as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. This role is responsible for supporting the FP&A activities for the APAC region, including financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects across both the region's P&L and the region's Franchise Advertising Fund (FAF) P&L.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze monthly financial results in comparison to established budget, investigate any significant variances, irregular and unusual transactions, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Partner with the team to create and maintain forecasting, facilitating the identification of Risks & Opportunities.
  • Manage annual budget, including development of processes and timeline, training of staff on execution, analyzing the budget for overall strategic objectives and goals of the region, and making and tracking adjustments as needed.
  • Work with Global FP&A tools to provide dashboard reporting metrics.
  • Collaborate with other members of the regional team to ensure their needs and the organization's needs are met while promoting a culture of high performance and quality customer service.
  • Create and maintain controls and analysis through financial modeling and presentation, setting the strategy for the business with Regional & Global Leadership and being able to communicate it effectively to different levels.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of previous work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a similar field.
  • Proven track record in financial analysis & reporting, demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves, work in a lean environment with hands-on management capacity and desire.
  • Experience in managing budget and demonstrated ability to work within approved budget.
  • Experience working in a matrix management environment, preferably in a Global company.
  • Experience with FP&A tools, coupled with advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. OneStream, Tableau, SQL, and VBA experience added an advantage.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including application of accounting concepts and treatment for transactions.
  • Strong leadership skills, articulate and excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated, balanced with high standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Ability to manage different stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Working experience in a Food & Beverage setting with some restaurant operations exposure will be an added advantage.
