Electrical Installation Leader

The role of Electrical Installation Manager involves overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems on a project-by-project basis. Key to success in this position is effective team management and coordination with vendors to ensure timely completion according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Manage on-site teams, oversee schedules for electrical and mechanical system installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Communication: Facilitate weekly meetings with vendors, present energization and startup plans to clients, and maintain open lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all systems are energized and operating according to project specifications and timelines, applying knowledge of Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and Mechanical Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
  • Problem-Solving: Prepare Root Cause Analysis when necessary, demonstrating analytical skills and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Safety Management: Implement and oversee Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) processes to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Client Relations: Attend meetings with clients, main contractors, and sub-contractors to provide updates and discuss project progress.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Personal qualities including perseverance, diligence, integrity, and initiative are essential for success in this role.
