Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting 1-to-1 and/or group speech therapy sessions, supporting and providing individual and/or group therapy in our Early Intervention Programmes, conducting assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorders, collaborating with families, caregivers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records and document client progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1-to-1 and/or group speech therapy sessions in Kaleidoscope Therapy Centre, preschools, or home settings as required.
  • Support and provide individual and/or group therapy in Kaleidoscope's Early Intervention Programmes as assigned.
  • Conducting assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, feeding and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborating with families, caregivers and other professionals to develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records and document client progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field from an AHPC recognized institution.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a pediatric setting and working with children and families.
  • Proficient in speech and language assessment tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Basic knowledge of research methods and evidence-based practice.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience in assessing and treating speech and language disorders.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in working with children with special needs or in Early Intervention Programmes is a plus.
