About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Therapy Support Specialist to join our team at Dover Park Hospice. As a key member of our Palliative Rehabilitation Unit, you will play a vital role in supporting our therapists in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our therapy team, ensuring seamless operations and efficient communication.
  • Assist therapists in preparing for and conducting therapy sessions, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to enhance your knowledge in speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum ITE/GCE 'N' level or equivalent, or relevant therapy/rehabilitation support certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, Tamil, and other dialects.
  • Prior experience as a Therapy Assistant is preferred but not required.
