Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at INFINITE COMPUTER SOLUTIONS PTE LTD. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our enterprise IT infrastructure.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional with expertise in systems infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Linux RHEL, Windows, OS virtualisation technologies, SAN storage, and/or databases.

The role requires a strategic thinker who can take a broad perspective while also drilling deep to understand business needs and challenges. You must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise IT infrastructure, including data centers, networks, servers, storage systems, and cloud services.
  • Work with service providers to design, develop, deploy, and configure infrastructure to meet resiliency, availability, and data integrity needs.
  • Ensure compliance to technical architecture, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage infrastructure projects and services to support application systems environments.
  • Request provisioning of new VMs for new systems.
  • Manage system architecture, resource planning, infrastructure performance, and system hosting environment from server hardware to OS layer (excluding hypervisor and storage).
  • Main single-point-of-contact for all new application system initiatives and to support/assist in application architecture design, integration, and acceptance and infrastructure performance testing.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience delivering Enterprise Data Science and/or Big Data Platforms on AWS (preferred) or On-Premise (good to have).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux RHEL (preferred), Windows (good to have), OS virtualisation technologies (good to have), SAN storage (good to have), and/or databases (added advantage).
  • Able to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill deep to understand business needs and challenges.
  • Able to analyse and identify comprehensive solutions considering all functional implications while developing a workable solution.
  • Hands-on experience in developing DevSecOps and MLOps pipelines, either on Cloud (preferred) or On-Premise (good to have) would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. Working experience with both structured and unstructured data sets would be an added advantage.
  • Good appreciation of common Cyber Security Risks and Control. Knowledge on configuring popular Operating Systems (e.g., Windows or Linux) and/or Middleware (e.g., Apache, Nginx) against CIS standards would be an added advantage.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
