Logistics Development Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
  2. Monitor operational elements of the network to ensure effective, safe, and cost-efficient operations
  3. Collaborate with stations to review performance and issues, maintaining track records of trending issues
  4. Manage conflicts between DHLE and SATS, and internal business units at the first level
  5. Elevate critical issues to duty managers for resolution when necessary
Requirements
  1. Diploma in aviation management, logistics, or a related field
  2. Relevant experience in cargo operations and/or warehouse and logistics-related roles
  3. Understanding of cargo operations and supply chain best practices, operations management preferred
  4. Ability to work independently, multitask, and respond quickly to challenges in a fast-paced environment
  5. Adaptability to changes and problem-solving skills
  6. Interpersonal and communication skills
  7. Microsoft Office software skills, including MS-Excel with macro and pivot table capabilities, Tableau advantageous
