Job Title: Culinary Operations Specialist

As a Culinary Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional food quality and service standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our Food Service Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Chef and support in planning of food events and promotions, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  2. Undertake a varied list of food preparation tasks on a daily basis, maintaining the highest standards of presentation and taste.
  3. Ensure standard food hygiene practices are maintained at all times, adhering to legal aspects of Food Licensing.
  4. Make decisions within guidelines from Management Committee/GM on daily Food operations, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
  5. Monitor and fully implement portion control established with recipe cards and butcher tests, minimizing waste and spoilage.
  6. Check stores and refrigerators, ensuring proper storing and recycling of leftovers.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by Management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Specialist certification in culinary arts.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with Food and Hygiene Certification.
  • Excellent knife skills and multitasking abilities, with good time management skills.
  • Dependable team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Service Orientation and ability to use ingredients effectively.
