Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Analyst/Trader to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for conducting financial and market research across various asset classes, assisting in portfolio construction and performance monitoring, and executing trades under the guidance of senior professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, with 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. You should be proficient in Excel and have exposure to Bloomberg, Python, or other financial tools. Familiarity with MAS Designated Investments under Section 13O is also an advantage.

In this role, you will work closely with the investment team to identify opportunities and provide insights on macroeconomic trends. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating market models, dashboards, and investment tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial and market research across asset classes (e.g. equities, fixed income, FX, alternatives)
  • Assist in portfolio construction, performance monitoring, and reporting
  • Execute trades under guidance of senior professionals or family principals
  • Prepare investment memos, risk analysis, and performance summaries
  • Maintain and update market models, dashboards, and investment tools
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends and provide insights to the investment team
  • Ensure compliance with internal investment guidelines and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Entry level is welcome. Candidates with 1-2 years' experience are welcome.
  • Familiarity with financial statements, basic valuation methods, and trading platforms
  • Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Bloomberg, Python, or financial tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with MAS Designated Investments under Section 13O
