Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in automation and manual testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our applications.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting review/walkthrough sessions with key stakeholders for various documents, including test plans, test cases, roll-out training material, and UAT status reports. They will also execute UAT cases, analyze issues encountered in UAT, and provide UAT status reports to project stakeholders.

In addition, they will participate in pre-implementation preparation and post-implementation support exercises, including end-user live verification during roll-out. The specialist will also provide test support across regional offices when needed and handle testing for multiple project deliverables concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct review/walkthrough sessions with key stakeholders for test plans, test cases, roll-out training material, and UAT status reports.
  • Execute UAT cases, analyze issues encountered in UAT, and provide UAT status reports to project stakeholders.
  • Participate in pre-implementation preparation and post-implementation support exercises, including end-user live verification during roll-out.
  • Provide test support across regional offices when needed.
  • Handle testing for multiple project deliverables concurrently.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in web and mobile application testing in the banking industry.
  • Good analytical skills to process complex requirements and come up with end-to-end scenarios and test cases.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodology, and understanding of the life cycle of testing in both automated and manual testing.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance processes and tools, including Confluence and JIRA.
  • Team player with ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of a strong passion for automation, standardization, and best practices.
