Job Title: Building Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Building Drafter to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will play a crucial role in developing and constructing building designs and techniques.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and producing building design and construction techniques.
  • Model development and production techniques using Revit software.
  • Preparation and update of Revit Models (coordination drawings).
  • Attending on-site BIM meetings to ensure seamless collaboration with project teams.
  • Creation of Revit families with parameters specific to the project.
  • Ensuring compliance of all drawings with project specifications and requirements.
  • Collaboration with Project/A&A Teams on drawing amendments and updates.
Requirements:
  • A relevant certificate, diploma, or degree, or equivalent qualification in building engineering or a related field.
  • Specialist Diploma in BIM (BCA) is an advantage.
  • Working experience on site in building or civil engineering projects is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MEP modeling in Revit is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in AutoCAD drafting, design, modeling, technical, planning, or engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in BIM authoring software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, etc).
  • Able to read and understand working drawings (M&E, architectural, and structural).
  • Able to create Revit families with parameters.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, responsive, and positive attitude.
