Job Title:
Bellman/Concierge – Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences
Job Description:
The Bellman/Concierge plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. This involves greeting guests warmly, assisting with enquiries, and promptly fulfilling their service requests.
Responsibilities:
- Extend a warm welcome to guests at the main entrance, addressing them by name when possible
- Communicate effectively with the front desk team for seamless arrivals and departures
- Efficiently manage driveway operations, opening and closing vehicle doors as required
- Ensure timely collection and delivery of guest luggage and equipment
- Provide accurate information and assistance to guests as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entrance and baggage room areas
- Assist the concierge in booking taxis upon guest request
- Alert security or the duty manager of any suspicious individuals or items in the lobby
- Stay knowledgeable about hotel products and services
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Secondary or high school education is preferred
- Excellent reading and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to speak additional languages and possess basic understanding of local dialects is an asset
- Training will be provided; prior experience is not necessary
- Effective communication and customer interaction skills are essential
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
