Extreme Sea Level Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Extreme Sea Level Analyst to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting extreme sea level data, conducting numerical modeling of these events, and estimating the likelihood of such occurrences in Singapore.
- Develop and implement advanced analytical techniques to analyze and interpret extreme sea level data from regional tide gauge networks.
- Conduct numerical modeling of extreme sea level events, including the use of cutting-edge techniques to predict future events.
- Review and evaluate floating buoy systems for monitoring extreme sea level events.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate results effectively and develop best practices for communicating complex scientific information.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a strong background in Earth or environmental science, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field.
- Master's degree in Earth or environmental science.
- At least 4 years of experience in Earth science.
- Proven experience in geodetic data analysis and numerical modeling of tectonic deformation.
- Evidence of published research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
