Job Title: Skilled Nursing Practitioner

The role of a skilled nursing practitioner is to provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with colleagues to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care & Monitoring: Deliver personalized care, assess patient recovery, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Admissions & Discharges: Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharge planning effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement evidence-based treatments.
  • Medical Rounds & Procedures: Participate in rounds, execute physician orders, and assist in procedures safely.
  • Communication & Problem-Solving: Update the team on patient progress and support clinical challenges efficiently.
  • Patient Education & Resource Management: Educate patients and manage resources efficiently to improve patient outcomes.
  • Infection Control & Safety: Monitor infection prevention practices and emergency response efforts to ensure a safe environment.
  • Training & Development: Train and supervise new nurses and students to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Minimum degree in nursing.
  • At least 3 years of relevant permanent inpatient and senior nursing experience.
  • Preferred advanced or specialist diploma in geriatric or community nursing.
