Dedicated Early Intervention Specialist

AWSA LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dedicated Early Intervention Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality early intervention services to children and families, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with young children, has excellent communication skills, and can build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the highest standards of service delivery in the Early Intervention Centre (EIC), ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all children.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans, using developmentally appropriate teaching materials and methods to create engaging natural learning environments.
- Co-create a stimulating learning environment that fosters children's curiosity and promotes their active participation in learning activities.
- Coordinate centre-based and home-based interventions with the trans-disciplinary team, collaborating with families and caregivers to enhance child and family outcomes.
- Develop and implement functional learning goals for each child, in collaboration with the trans-disciplinary team and family members.
- Monitor and review children's progress, functional goals, and family priorities in coordination with other team members.
- Update and maintain accurate records of children's daily attendance, assessment, intervention records, and progress of development.
- Prepare Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Progress Summaries/Narrative Summaries for each pupil, discussing them with parents during Pre-Parent Team Conferences and actual Parent-Team Conferences.
- Ensure the administration, intervention, caregiving, and safety of pupils are always prioritized.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with parents/guardians through various means, including communication books, emails, telephone calls, and other suitable channels.
- Adopt evidence-based approaches such as Trans-disciplinary, Family-Centred Practices, Early Childhood Holistic Outcomes, and best practices in the Early Intervention sector.
- Maintain health, safety, hygiene standards, and procedures, ensuring the creation of a secure learning environment.
- Inventorize and maintain all equipment and resources in EIC classrooms and common areas.
- Pursue ongoing professional development, attending meetings, discussions, training sessions, workshops, functions, and events as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding matters pertaining to children, families, and staff at all times.
- Support the implementation of centre initiatives and identify areas for improvement in family and community programs.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with preschoolers and passion for childcare.
- Organized and meticulous approach to work.
Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
