Network Infrastructure SpecialistJob Description:

The role involves designing, building and operating global network infrastructure to meet high availability, scalability and performance requirements. This includes collaborating with software development teams to plan and design network operation platforms.

Responsibilities include continuously improving online network stability, optimizing engineering processes, and enhancing network efficiency. This involves analyzing network failure rates, network availability, network capacity and network cost to provide operational data for maintenance and architectural design.

Additionally, the role requires collecting business network infrastructure data, analyzing and auditing the data to improve network health.

Overall, this position demands a strong understanding of networking principles, experience in large-scale data center networks and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Shell, Java or PHP.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
  • 3 years experience in network operations and maintenance, preferably with internet-related large scale datacenter network background
  • 1 year familiarity with building and optimizing processes for networking operations systems, including monitoring systems in hyper-scale data centers and network alerting platforms
  • Familiarity with commonly used data analysis methods, strong data sensitivity
  • 5 years experience and proficiency in one of the programming languages like Python, Shell, Java or PHP for operational development work
  • Strong system analysis skills, good abstract thinking and logical reasoning abilities, and the ability to independently analyze and solve problems
  • Proven capabilities to design automated operational solutions and drive problem solving
