The Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition (CLIC) is a research collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES). Our mission is to develop neuroscience-based interventions for lifelong flexible learning.

As a research associate, you will support our team in researching cognitive flexibility and learning, as well as training-related brain changes among adults and adolescents. Given the highly interdisciplinary nature of our project, you will have opportunities to be involved in research activities related to human neuroimaging, language, infant cognition/learning, and pedagogy.

Responsibilities
  • Support the recruitment of young adults from vocational institutions and the general working population via community sampling
  • Organize the collection of datasets
  • Overview and standardize protocols for data coding, data entry, and data analysis for the datasets
  • Assist with the preparation of conference presentations and journal papers
  • Perform other administrative duties, including IRB procedures
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Neuroscience, or a related discipline
  • Experience in psychometrics and scale development and validation
  • Knowledge of ethical and administrative procedures such as IRB development
  • Prior experience in conducting adult cognitive testing
  • Prior experience with participant recruitment processes
  • Prior experience and familiarity with data management protocols and ethical regulatory frameworks in Singapore
  • Experience in performing general administration tasks for research projects
  • Experience in producing research reports
  • Good statistical knowledge and skills, including familiarity with statistical analysis software such as R and SPSS
  • Good IT skills (Office)
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within given deadlines
