We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at VES Hospital, Mount Pleasant Veterinary Group, Hillside Veterinary Surgery, and Gentle Oak Veterinary Clinic. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to pets and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to pets, including taking medical histories, performing diagnostic tests, and administering treatments.
  • Lead communications with veterinarians and veterinary medical teams to maintain the flow of pets and ensure seamless care.
  • Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service to clients, including educating them on preventive care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
  • Ensure the safety of pets, clients, and associates by utilizing safe restraining techniques and maintaining clean, sterile, and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Assist with surgery as applicable and maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements
  • Graduate with a Diploma in Veterinary Technology or relevant education.
  • Minimally 2 years of work experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital preferred.
  • Ability to commit to a 44-hour work week based on rotation, including weekends.
  • Desire to grow a career in the veterinary industry.
