Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing the architecture of our core platform services using Rust.

You will work closely with our product and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and observability of our systems. Your primary focus will be on delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective data services that create business value.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to architect and develop distributed systems or microservice architectures, with a focus on high availability and scalability. You will also work with caching, messaging systems, and data streaming frameworks.

A successful candidate will have a solid foundation in computer science, including operating systems, networking, algorithms, concurrency, and data structures. They will also have experience designing and developing production-grade backend or systems-level applications.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Rust, with knowledge of async runtimes and the Rust ecosystem. They will also have hands-on experience with performance profiling, observability, and system reliability best practices.
