Role Overview

As a key member of the Portfolio Management team, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring, analysing and optimising asset/portfolio performance to drive long-term growth and resilience.

Your primary objective will be to contribute to the successful delivery of consistent performance and distribution to Unitholders, maximising risk-adjusted investment returns.

This role provides opportunities for driven individuals to develop cross-functional skills and leadership capabilities by collaborating with colleagues from various departments, including Asset Management, Investor Relations, Sustainability, Investments and Finance.

Job Requirements

  • Portfolio Analysis
  • Prepare quarterly board meeting and results documents and trustee reports.
  • Ensure monthly portfolio look-through, incidents and sustainability reports are prepared, cleared and submitted on time.
  • Work with the Asset Management and Finance teams to track and review annual asset budgets (e.g. capital expenditures), and analyse variances against portfolio level forecasts.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and analysis.
  • Monitor market, sustainability and Health and Safety (HSE) related news that could affect assets under management, highlighting key topics internally where relevant.
  • Coordinate annual workplace safety visits for senior management (with assistance from the Asset Managers).
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Group policies / processes, working with the Asset Management team to drive zero control breaches/audit findings.
  • Sustainability Initiatives
  • Collate and submit ESG benchmarking initiatives (e.g. GRESB).
  • Monitor, report and review sustainability targets.
  • Work closely with the Asset and Facility Management teams to consolidate and review efficiency metrics (e.g. PUE) and assess and propose green initiatives (e.g. renewable energy, green rating) for implementation.
  • Prepare (working with consultants and internal stakeholders) sustainability reporting and monitoring measures.
  • Coordination and Review
  • Take a leading role in coordinating, managing and reviewing annual assets' valuation and hold-sell analysis
  • Annual insurance adequacy and renewal
  • Annual internal audit
  • Annual report
  • Technical audit (where relevant)
  • Strategy Planning
  • Plan the Annual Strategy meeting with the Board.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. Asset Management, Finance, Investments, and Investor Relations) for presentations.
  • Coordinate with external consultants or guest speakers on portfolio strategy or market / industry related presentations where relevant.
  • Support and Special Projects
  • Support special projects assigned which include Portfolio wide systems integration
  • Investments and divestments
  • Strategic asset management projects
  • Ad-hoc Support
  • Ad-hoc support on portfolio related matters including Q&As / presentations for investor meetings.
  • Participate in due diligence and/or acquisition support (e.g. circulars / review of announcements etc.)
