Job Title: IT Technology Auditor

  • The IT Auditor plays a key role in leading and supporting internal audits across regional subsidiaries, focusing on technology and non-technology processes.
  • Leads corporate and regional audit initiatives to ensure effective audits, proper risk assessment, and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees auditors for assigned projects, with an emphasis on IT/technology audits and general business audits.
  • Conducts thorough risk assessments and business analysis to identify key risks at subsidiary or business unit level.
  • Develops detailed audit plans and scope, assigns tasks, and provides guidance as needed.
  • Manages external audit partners where necessary.
  • Ensures the audit process is completed from planning to reporting, resulting in practical, evidence-based findings and recommendations.
  • Fosters follow-up on improvement plans to ensure timely implementation of recommendations.

CORPORATE & REGIONAL AUDIT INITIATIVES:
  • Supports the implementation of new audit tools and software solutions.
  • Assists in planning and conducting regional auditor training sessions or meetings.
  • Contributes to data analytics, monitoring, and reporting initiatives.
  • Drives continuous improvement of audit procedures, risk assessment frameworks, and co-sourcing processes.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT:
  • Built and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, risk, operations, and IT teams across regional subsidiaries.
  • Facilitates discussions and ensures alignment between internal audit and business units.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Requires a university degree or higher.
  • Minimum 6 years of internal audit experience in financial services, preferably insurance.
  • Experience conducting IT audits and familiarity with auditing practices in financial institutions.
  • Knowledge of financial operations, business models, and relevant laws/regulations.
  • Professional IT audit or cybersecurity certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CIA preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for audits (up to 2 weeks per quarter).
  • Experience in co-sourcing, data analytics, or non-IT financial functions is desirable.

  • Ability to manage multiple audits simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
