Mobile Device Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mobile device professional to fill a critical position in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough diagnoses to identify complex technical issues with mobile devices
  • Perform quality control checks on repaired devices to ensure full functionality
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Maintain and utilize repair tools and equipment, including software and POS systems

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of customer service best practices and relevant experience
  • Ability to repair a variety of mobile devices, including iPhones, Samsung, LG, Motorola, Sony, Huawei and OnePlus phones, and iPads
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues and management
  • Knowledge of mobile devices, including manufacturers, operating systems and network service providers
  • Ability to work flexibly and with enthusiasm
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with water damage repairs
  • Knowledge of SMT components and through-hole component replacement
  • Ability to solder wires and cables
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload without supervision
