Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor

This position requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a senior capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, architects, and engineers, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and maintain accurate records. Additionally, they will possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering and have at least 3 years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry.

  • FOLLOWING DIRECTORS TO CONSTRUCTION SITES AND COORDINATING WITH SUBCONTRACTORS, ARCHITECTS, AND ENGINEERS
  • ATTENDING MEETINGS AND PREPARING ACCURATE MINUTES
  • PREPARING MEETING AGENDAS AND COLLATING RELEVANT MATERIALS
  • PREPARING AND FOLLOWING UP SALES QUOTATIONS
  • TRACKING ACTION ITEMS AND DEADLINES
  • PERFORMING OTHER AD-HOC TASKS AS ASSIGNED
  • QUANTITY TAKE-OFF AND COST ESTIMATION BASED ON TECHNICAL DETAILS AND DRAWINGS
  • CALCULATING VARIATION ORDERS FOR LANDED HOUSE PROJECTS
  • SOURCING QUOTATIONS FROM SUPPLIERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS
  • EVALUATING AND COMPARING SUB-CONTRACTORS' QUOTATIONS

Key Requirements:

  • Able to work under minimal supervision and be meticulous
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Pro-active, a good team player and able to work well under pressure
  • Candidate must possess Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering
  • At least 3 years of working experience in Civil Engineering industry.
  • Preferably bilingual.
