Role Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled UX/UI Design Lead to join our global team. As a key member of our design crew, you'll be responsible for shaping end-to-end experiences that drive business value and user satisfaction.

About the Job

This is a freelance opportunity that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of human-centered design principles. You'll work closely with clients, stakeholders, and users to co-design meaningful solutions that meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full UX process, from user research and journey mapping to wireframes, flows, prototypes, and testing.
  • Define and deliver end-to-end experiences across web and mobile platforms, always grounded in user needs.
  • Apply and extend design systems and UI libraries, or create them from scratch when needed.
  • Run and facilitate Design Thinking workshops with clients, stakeholders, and users.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and strategists to bring ideas to life.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX, interaction, or product design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your expertise.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor junior designers and elevate team quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, and front-end logic, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and turn it into elegant, testable UX solutions.
Preferred Qualifications

We're also looking for candidates with:

  • Experience in complex B2B platforms, enterprise tools, or service ecosystems.
  • Fluency in English, with German fluency highly preferred for upcoming projects, and Mandarin as a bonus.
