Strategic Product Leadership Opportunity

WEBWAVE TECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Product Director to drive the success of our products. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing the product strategy, overseeing development, and optimizing performance to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives. Define and communicate product goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success metrics.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Use insights to inform product development and enhancement decisions.
- Product Roadmap: Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap outlining short-term and long-term development plans. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business value, and market dynamics.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed product requirements. Create clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Product Development: Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to oversee the product development process. Ensure that the product is developed on time, within scope, and meets quality standards.
- User Experience (UX) and Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing product interfaces. Validate design decisions based on user feedback and usability testing.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the product meets defined requirements and quality standards. Address and prioritize issues and defects.
- Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches, coordinating marketing, sales, and support efforts. Monitor product performance and gather user feedback after launch.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze product performance and user feedback to make data-driven decisions for product improvements. Continuously monitor KPIs and adapt the product strategy as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including executive management, development teams, marketing, and sales. Provide regular updates on product progress and outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field is typically required. An MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) may be preferred.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successful product launches and improvements, is typically required.
- Strong understanding of the market, target audience, and industry trends relevant to the product.
- Familiarity with technology, development processes, and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize the product.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address product challenges and make strategic decisions.
- Effective leadership and project management skills to guide the product development process.
- A customer-focused mindset, with a deep understanding of user needs and the ability to advocate for user-centric product design.
- The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving product requirements.
As a Product Director at WEBWAVE TECH PTE. LTD., you can expect a competitive salary range of SGD 160,000 - SGD 220,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience. You will also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid leave.
