Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, developing engaging teaching materials, and providing mentorship and guidance to students. They will also undertake industry or consultancy projects to stay current with professional trends and evolving industry changes.
This role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, particularly in factory equipment maintenance and operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing or automation, with proficiency in at least one of the following areas:
- Engineering Resource Management: Developing and managing budgets for equipment and resources, optimising resource allocation for efficient and sustainable factory operations.
- Quality Control: Implementing and maintaining quality control protocols in a manufacturing environment, considering sustainable practices. Analyzing data to identify and address quality control issues while minimising environmental impact.
- Industrial Automation: Deep understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting, industrial sensor applications, and robotics integration and maintenance in automated production lines.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include career development opportunities, leadership positions within the Colleges or Headquarters, and regular industry attachments or experiences.
