Welder and Flame Cutting Specialist Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and site supervisors to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
  • Oversee and inspect work at project sites, focusing on quality and quantity standards.
  • Perform a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, ARC, TIG, and pipe welding at workshops and project locations.
  • Grind iron, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
  • Verify attendance records for workers and submit reports to the administration department.
  • Assist with additional resource requests and perform assigned tasks by the project manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • N-level, O-level, diploma, or ITE qualifications in a related field.
  • Prior experience as a welder, particularly in air-conditioning (ACMV piping, insulation works, and electrical), is highly advantageous.
  • A Class 2 or 3 driving license is preferred, and transportation will be provided by the company.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Welder
