Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to lead our network security efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the security of our network services, leading high-severity incident resolution, and driving continuous service improvements.

About the Role:

  • This is a technical expert position that requires hands-on experience with various security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, proxies, load balancers, VPNs, and related systems.
  • You will work closely with architects and project teams to develop technology roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Your expertise in risk analysis, compliance, and regulatory requirements will be critical in ensuring the stability, availability, and resilience of our security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and troubleshoot Firewalls, IPS, Proxies, Load Balancers, VPN, and related systems.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with architects and project teams on technology roadmaps.
  • Review technology changes for risk, readiness, and compliance.
  • Automate operations for efficiency and consistency.
  • Manage client relationships, service quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal security standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 15+ years in network and security infrastructure management, 10+ years leading large-scale network security projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Cisco, Arista EOS, Fortinet, F5 LTM/ASM/APM, Infoblox, Skyhigh, Ivanti, Checkpoint, TrendMicro IPS/IDS, Python, Bash, Ansible, Wireshark, Tshark, NetFlow.
  • Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Systems Analysis, or related field.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts covering European business hours, plus on-call duty.
