About the Opportunity

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of researchers and contribute to cutting-edge research projects in maritime transport. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and Developing Models: Design and develop mathematical models to understand complex maritime systems.
  • Analyzing Data: Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in maritime transport.
  • Conducting Numerical Experiments: Conduct extensive numerical experiments to validate the performance of proposed models.
  • Publishing Research Results: Present research results as academic papers and reports.
Requirements

To be considered, applicants must hold a PhD degree in transport engineering, maritime transport and management, computer science, or a related field from a reputable university. They should also possess excellent programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, Java, Julia, or other competent languages.

A good record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals or conferences in maritime transport, logistics management, machine learning, deep learning, and optimization is essential. Proficiency in written and spoken English is also required.
