The role of a senior banker in healthcare investment banking is a strategic position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as providing advisory services for mergers and acquisitions.
Responsibilities:- Assume significant responsibility for project execution and transaction management, focusing on developing new business opportunities and driving firm growth.
- Work closely with clients to guide them through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence and drafting sessions, and preparing them for equity or debt offerings.
- Collaborate with senior team members and outside advisors to execute complex M&A transactions.
- Develop situation analyses, pitch materials, and investor presentations to support client engagements.
- At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on healthcare sector deals.
- Experience working within the financial services industry, specifically within banking.
- A degree in finance or a related field, such as business administration.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products, regulations, and lending processes.
