Audit Manager Job Description

In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for overseeing various tasks that contribute to the success of our assurance team.

  • You will lead in defining and executing audit strategies, collaborating with senior directors or partners to align with firm policies and protocols.
  • Your responsibility will also include overseeing projects and engagements profitably by guiding your team to perform efficiently.
  • You will monitor the progress of the assurance team against the plan and make necessary adjustments.
  • You will identify business development opportunities, applying knowledge and services from our sister concerns.
  • You will conduct timely performance reviews, providing feedback and training to enhance team members' technical competencies.
  • You will develop team members by encouraging critical thinking and taking responsibility for their contributions to the assurance team.
  • You will maintain cooperative relationships with other assurance teams.
  • You will establish and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks.

Skill Requirements:

  • You must work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
  • You must contribute ideas and opinions to the assurance teams and listen/respond to other assurance team members' views.
  • You must demonstrate professionalism and competence in the audit client's environment.
  • You must cultivate and manage business development opportunities, generating new business opportunities by understanding the services provided by our sister concerns.
  • You must possess good project management skills.
  • You must exhibit integrity within a professional environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Ongoing CPA Singapore qualification or near completion.
  • Working knowledge of Caseware audit software is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of related work experience in a managerial role.
