Network Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, Tacacs, and Firewall.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
  • Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, ACI, Cato Remote VPN, and Akamai Guardicore Microsegmentation.
  • Support network upgrades and migrations, including planning, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support system integration and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, IP addressing, and change logs.
  • Respond to incidents and outages, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support when necessary.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven hands-on network operation and engineering experience is a must.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostics, and network analytics tools.
  • Strong Knowledge in network design including round, switching, and security.
  • Experience in enterprise network architecture planning or design concepts such as network segmentation or network segregation is mandatory.
  • Experience managing SDN Solution (E.g. Cisco ACI), Firewall, and Load Balancers would be required.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and principles.
