Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Monitoring & Engineering (M&E) Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction works are carried out in accordance with the approved plans and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor contractors' daily activity, site progress, schedule, and safety on site.
  • Carry out administrative tasks and other duties as required by the Quality Planning (QP) Officer/Superintending Officer/Consultant/Employer.
  • Review and check all M&E drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with approved plans.
  • Familiarize yourself with Singapore's code of practice (COP), regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Highlight discrepancies, provide feedback on site progress, and report non-conformances/irregularities to the QP/Consultants/Employer.
  • Assist in reviewing contractor's method statements and working procedures to ensure adherence to site protocols.
  • Prepare lists of defects, monitor the progress of rectification works, and ensure satisfactory completion.
  • Evaluate whether construction works meet statutory requirements.
  • Possess an M&E RTO certificate accredited by IES/ACE.
